Where to use a prize wheel
- Trade shows and fairs: run it on a tablet or laptop at your booth to draw a crowd.
- Store promotions: customers spin for a discount at checkout.
- Classrooms: reward good behavior with spins for small prizes or privileges.
- Live streams: viewers who reach a goal get a spin on screen — capture the browser window in OBS.
Control the odds
Every slice has the same chance, so you control the odds through the number of slices. With eight slices and one "Grand prize", the grand prize has a 1 in 8 chance. To make it rarer, add more small prizes or "Try again" slices: with one grand prize among 20 slices, the chance falls to 5%. If you are running a promotion, publish these odds and any legal terms your local rules require.
Make the moment big
Use the full-screen button so the wheel fills a monitor or projector, keep the sound on for the ticking effect, and choose the longer spin time to build suspense. The winning prize appears in large text with a confetti burst.
Make your own wheel
Everything on this wheel can be changed: edit the entries box to add, remove or rename slices, and your version is saved in this browser. To start from a blank wheel, use the main spin the wheel page.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make the grand prize less likely?
Yes. Add more slices with smaller prizes or "Try again". The chance of each slice is 1 divided by the total number of slices.
Can I rig the wheel?
No. Every slice always has the same chance. This keeps the wheel fair for giveaways and live audiences.
Does it work offline at an event?
Yes. After you have opened the page once, it keeps working without an internet connection, and you can install it as an app.
